Read about some of the ways people have used 10 Tactics
10 Tactics has been integrated into workshops, trainings, school and university courses as well as NGO internal trainings around the world. This is some of the feedback we've had from people who've used 10 Tactics:
“I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to disseminate the this practical knowledge and message of social change. I think the audience found the materials to be very useful and also applicable to their communities here in Texas”
Jorge F. Peña, Department of Communication Studies, The University of Texas, Austin, USA
"10 Tactics is a vital resource for activists seeking to use new technology in tactically powerful and strategically effective ways. There is a need to learn from other movements and the 10 Tactics resources provide crucial insights and hard won lessons to emulate and build upon."
Anthony Kelly, the Change Agency, Australia

"I use 10 Tactics as an essential tool for raising awareness about new media in all my workshops on Citizen Journalism and New Media here in the north east of India. It helps me to get the agenda going as all the components of the workshop are based around the tactics included in the movie."
Babul Gogoi, Foundation for People Empowerment, India
“I'm using the 10 Tactics materials in a class I am teaching for graduate students, "Guerrilla Public Art: Socially Mediated Interventions" at the Rhode Island School of Design. The tactics have been really helpful in identifying, analyzing, and producing strategies for the different participants that can become involved in public art works."

"I am involved in holistic community development work helping poor communities and marginalised groups in Sierra Leone to get them empowered on a sustainable basis. Applying 10 tactics to our operations have seen new ways of doing our work in a creative manner that makes things very practical, interesting and easy for us and others to comprehend what is going on. It is a fully loaded interrelated package that if carefully studied and well implemented can bring positive transformation to organizations. I am greatly impressed with it and recommend it for use as it adds value to what groups are doing and does so easily."

"I've used 10 tactics to spark conversation and discussion on appropriate info-activism tactics with diverse groups from ciitzen social justice advocates to graduate students to grassroots activists from Southeast Asia. Each time it's been a great way to initiate a conversation around ways they can integrate these types of tools into their work."
Sam Gregory, WITNESS, United States
"We screened 10 Tactics as part of our 'Show and Tell' programme, a monthly series of informal talks by participants and guest speakers on a variety of subjects. We had around 30 in the audience and the screening provoked a lively debate on the issues raised by the film and the ideas used in it. I found the film really tangible. It introduced me to topics that I know little about in an informative varied way."
Ruthie Ford, Access Space, UK
“10 Tactics has been really valuable in a teaching context; as well as using it in Witness trainings, I have also used it in a class that I teach at the Harvard Kennedy Carr Center for Human Rights. It gets a great response from students.”

"Thanks to 10 Tactics we found out that so much can be done using free and ready to use technology, especially turning data into visual and useful information, such as a map, to inform transit communities of what's happening and inviting them to take action."
Georgina Ramos, Jesuit Migrants Service Mexico, Mexico
"As a very young advocacy group, A Bleeding Heart needed as much information as it could get. It was just a group of young people interested in being more involved in positively changing their country, but we were starting from scratch. But now that we have the wealth of knowledge that the 10 Tactics package provides. I for one consider us a lot more prepared to fight the good fight...or fights..."
Brendon O'Brien, A Bleeding Heart, Trinidad and Tobago
"The video was great for us when introducing youth to ways that information and social media can be used for social accountability. We were working in Kenya where government corruption was an issue that youth brought up a lot. They really liked section on filming police bribes and tracking the plane of the president. When we did action plans, you could see that some of the ideas from the video had sparked thinking in the participants."
Linda Raftree, Plan International , Senegal
"The [10 tactics] film in fact has directed me toward the solutions I have been looking for to support our work on democratic participation. The Kubutana and Sodnet examples will now help me sensitise and inspire my colleagues. I hope we be able to implement something similar for our work in Uganda."
John Silco, RIC-NET, Uganda
"10 Tactics is empowering, informative and strategic. I'm using it to help create messages for students about why they should stay at school to attain the benefits and outcomes that follow years down the trackfrom this. I'm also using it to create messages that inform parents about law changes and how it will effect thier children and how they can help."

"10 tactics is the right tools for producing excellent advocacy results. Our project "TOGETHER AGAINST TORTURE" was designed using 10 Tactics. It to sensitise people about torture and its effects. Weve started using it in many other new projects as well. It's a wonderful empowerment tool."
Adamoh Mustapha, Prisoners Rehabilitation And Welfare Action (PRAWA), Nigeria
Our screening was wonderful.... The Kibera maps piece was central to the screening as discussions ensued on how the maps could be used by the locals for advocacy around service delivery. There were also interesting synergies with Well Told Stories that will serialize some of the practices in Kenya in the form of a comic."
Philip Thigo, Social Development Network, Kenya
"This is a great starter guide to show how technology can be used in development and peace work, and I plan to give the guide to all new interns/staff who join our organization as a way to introduce them into the power of simple tech use. We are a legal empowerment through technology organization so a lot of the people who join us or are interested in us come in from the legal side. 10 tactics is a great way to introduce them to the technical side."
